9 Month Session | Las Vegas Baby Photographer

Glad to see you again, blog readers!  I’m back again with another session featuring the oh-so-lovely Alexa. I’ve been lucky enough to photograph Alexa twice now, I finished up their family session the day prior to this session.  She joined me in the studio for her 9 month session or what we photographers call a “Milestone Session”.  These sessions are all about capturing the sweet milestones that happen in the first year of your baby’s life. These sessions are typically done at 3 months (or when baby can hold its head up), 6 months (or when baby can sit unassisted), 9 months (or when baby is crawling) and 1 year (cake smash!) and are done in the studio. Milestone Sessions are about 45 minutes but can be more or less depending on your baby’s needs.

My studio is packed with all sorts of adorable props for these cute Milestone Sessions. The adorable cream romper that Alexa is wearing was made my Sew Whimsy, on of my favorite vendors! It was just perfect for her 9 month session.

Milestones

I absolutely love this age! They are really starting to show their little personalities and always have the best smiles. This sweet little pumpkin showed me a whole range of emotions during her session. Those big round eyes are just darling! Alexa is just figuring out how to sit up all by her self and scoot around a bit. And she looks so darn cute doing it! Her momma sure does have her hands full, now. Speaking of Alexa’s mom, she did a fabulous job prepping her for this 9 month milestone session. She’s practically a pro at this by now!
